Go West…

The Western genre has a typographic world all its own. In addition to designing type, 'cowboy style' often means that familiar classic poster layout. Here we show a variety of western titles and author names that we designed using some custom type as well as altered type, all rounded up together with imaginative 'western' layout - the 'wanted poster' reborn.

What is unique to these covers and not seen in our other lettering pieces on our site is that these primarily use altered type. Not every project has the budget or the need to reinvent the typographic wheel, sometimes the wheel just needs to be turned into the right direction. Altered type can be that direction when your budget is lower.
